Amy Schoenberg and Kristin Mohr started Momentum Physical Therapy, Inc. in 2010 after working in the local area for over 10 years. Amy and Kristin both graduated from Simmons University and pursued post-graduate course work in the Movement System Impairment approach developed by Shirley Sahrmann and Associates at Washington University in St. Louis. Through Sahrmann’s teachings, they adopted a belief that physical therapists are specialists in the human movement system and can play an integral role in a person’s health throughout their lifespan.

By diagnosing and addressing movement impairments prior to the onset of symptoms, we can drastically prevent patients from experiencing pain and loss of function early on. Amy and Kristin strongly believe in customer service, making sure everyone at Momentum is treated with the highest level of care possible. Creating a family atmosphere is essential for us and our employees, to show you how much we care.

Amy enjoys teaching and has been a clinical instructor for many physical therapy students over the years, some of which are now working here at Momentum! She is certified in the Graston Technique and has a RockTape FMT Advanced Kinesiology Taping Certification.
